10.06.2020 – manroland Goss Americas, a subsidiary of manroland Goss web systems GmbH, the leading web offset press manufacturer, has relocated its bindery and post-press equipment service organization in Effingham, Illinois to its Americas headquarters located in Durham, New Hampshire. This will primarily benefit their customers: The new centralized structure will enable the Durham based engineering and customer service teams to fully utilize the potential of the established manroland Goss service and support infrastructure. As a result, faster response times and improved 24/7 support of their bindery and postpress portfolio.

The Loudon Machining facility was established in 1982 and served as manroland Goss’s bindery and post-press service, rebuild, and custom machining facility. The consolidation of service competence at a central location in Durham will provide customers with the proven manroland Goss service offering from a single source. This structural reorganization will enable the service teams to respond even faster and more efficiently to individual customer requirements.

“While we will dearly miss some of our teammates and our connection to the Effingham community, we are very excited about the positive impact this transition will have on our business” states Dave Soden, Managing Director of manroland Goss Americas. “By leveraging the experience and expertise of our Durham based engineering teams, we will be well positioned to provide tailored retrofits and support obsolescence management of our customers post-press equipment, helping them extend the life of their assets and maximize overall equipment performance”.

Jason Elliott, Vice President of Sales adds “consolidating our operations has resulted in a central location for our engineering, parts, and service support teams. This will increase coordination of our customer related activities and improve our ability to address our customers’ needs around the clock."

“I am very pleased that we have been able to retain much of the talent from the Loudon organization and in addition, add new members to our team to grow this business and provide sustainable service and support into the future” said Soden.
